Our first puzzle was designed and sold in 2017, but 2020 revealed an explosive need for jigsaw puzzles. We launched Brainstorm Puzzle Co. with 15 new styles of illustrated puzzles, all made in the USA.
The Brainstorm Puzzle Co. brand lived independently until it was absorbed back into the Brainstorm parent company in 2024.

We designed and launched our first puzzle in 2017 inspired by the U.S. National Parks. We'd been looking for a way to expand our collection of prints and goods and puzzles felt like a great fit for our art.
We expanded the line slowly, slowly learning the production side of things and making the economics of buying product in the thousands make sense. At the end of 2019 we had really stocked up on National Parks and Maine, never expecting what was to come.
It wasn’t until 2020, when puzzles went…viral…that we went full force into them. Brainstorm Puzzle Co. was born. We decided to give it it’s own space on the internet, because at the time it was overshadowing all other projects. We have since calmed down and brought it back together under one Brainstorm shop.
I hired photographers and videographers for marketing endeavors. I designed packaging and the puzzles themselves, in addition to all social media and catalogs. I designed the website
